The Initiative
The Latino Contractors Association (LCA) was founded to close the gap holding contractors back. Led by Richelle Moreno — a construction entrepreneur, single mother, and industry leader who built multiple companies from a $6,000 investment — LCA provides the community, tools, and training contractors need to grow.
LCA is partnering with Field24 for this event. Founded by Shan Srikanthan to help underserved contractors access knowledge and tools that have historically been out of reach, Field24 is trained on real construction knowledge and works right from your phone.

Richelle began her construction career at age five, building tree houses in her mother's backyard. In 2012 she became a business owner in the male-dominated construction industry and a single mother of two boys — simultaneously. With just $6,000 she started her first construction and electrical company, ultimately selling both to establish AXIOM in 2018. She built LCA to help other contractors achieve what she had to figure out alone.

Shan founded Field24 to help underserved contractors access the knowledge and tools that have historically been out of reach. His session covers how contractors can use AI right now — from ChatGPT for writing and communication to Field24, purpose-built for construction estimating. No tech background required.

Emmanuel is a CPA who has worked at leading firms including EY. He now serves as CFO for a portfolio of family businesses and invests in real estate. His session covers why financial order is not an accounting exercise — it's a prerequisite for bonding, credit lines, and being taken seriously by general contractors and public entities.
